Right of withdrawal

Fourteen days to change your mind, no reason needed. Here is exactly how it works, including the model form.

Your right

If you are a consumer in the European Union you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason and without penalty. This right comes from Directive 2011/83/EU and applies on top of everything else in these pages.

When the 14 days start

For a single item: the day you, or someone you named other than the carrier, take physical possession of it.
For several items ordered together but delivered separately: the day you receive the last one.
For an item delivered in several lots: the day you receive the last lot.

If the deadline falls on a weekend or a public holiday it runs to the end of the next working day.

How to withdraw

Tell us before the 14 days are up. Any clear statement is enough: an email to info@neboka.com saying you are withdrawing does the job. You do not have to give a reason, and you do not have to use the form below, but it is there if you want it.

Sending the goods back without a word is not a valid withdrawal. Tell us first, then send them. To meet the deadline it is enough that you send your message before the 14 days end.

What happens then

We refund every payment we received from you, including the standard delivery charge you paid to receive the goods.
If you chose a delivery method more expensive than our cheapest standard option, we refund the standard cost, not the premium.
We refund within 14 days of being told you are withdrawing, using the same means of payment you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise. The refund costs you nothing.
We may hold the refund until we have the goods back, or until you show they have been sent, whichever comes first.

Sending the goods back

Send them without undue delay and within 14 days of telling us you are withdrawing.
You pay the direct cost of returning the goods. For a normal parcel expect roughly [INDICATIVE RETURN COST]; for something bulky that cannot go by post it will be more.
You are liable only for any reduction in value caused by handling the goods beyond what is needed to establish their nature, characteristics and function. In short, you may examine an item as you would in a shop; if you use it as if you owned it, we may deduct the loss in value.
Pack the item so it survives the trip. We recommend a trackable service, since you carry the risk until it reaches us.

Where the right does not apply

Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU lists cases with no right of withdrawal. The ones relevant to what we sell are:

sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, if they were unsealed after delivery. This covers our food supplements and personal care items such as epilators, shavers and anything used on skin, mouth or hair;
goods made to your specification or clearly personalised;
sealed audio or video recordings or software, if unsealed after delivery;
goods which by their nature become inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.

The exception only bites once the seal is broken. An unopened, still-sealed supplement can be returned like anything else.

This is not the same as the guarantee

Withdrawal is your right to change your mind about a perfectly good product. If instead the item is faulty, damaged or not what was described, you have a separate two-year legal guarantee of conformity, you do not pay to send it back, and the 14-day window is irrelevant.
